Teeing Off On Cancer

Colorectal cancer takes a hit.

We are back in 2026 on Monday, September 21st at the beautiful Magnolia Green Golf Club.

Save the Date! Too much fun to miss.

Teeing Off On Cancer 2025 is in the books. On a warm and overcast day at Magnolia Green Gold Club 21 teams took to the links for a day of fun and games to support HCB2’s efforts to prevent colorectal cancer.  Thanks to all who supported the event either by participating or as sponsors. We raised over $25,000! Thank you Snow Companies for your top sponsorship!
The team of Steve Fisher, John Maliff, and Anne Maliff posted a score of 15 under to take first place using their back nine score as a tie breaker to outpace the second place team of Camp Peery, Drew Norris, Tom Pritzl, and Donovan Havens.
There were plenty of other contests as well with Hudson Cordle, Brandon Beswick, and Bill Chambers all wining closest to the pin on the par 3 holes.  Tom Pritzl and Rachel Collins won the men and women’s long drive competition, respectively.
Our putting contest, sponsored by Colon & Rectal Specialist, was taken by Mike Conklin.

Teeing Off on Cancer includes a long drive contest, a closest to the pin contest along with a two putting contests. The popular Golf Cannon returns with an abundance of door prizes. The Awards dinner includes a silent auction, “Basket of Cheer” raffle item, and awards to the top three teams along with the team who “brought up the rear”.  Playing golf to defeat colorectal cancer makes you a winner.

With diagnosis rising among younger populations, every event offers the opportunity to bring education to the participants and the community, which can literally save lives. Email [email protected] for more information about the golf tournament and how to get involved in 2025!
