Colorectal cancer survivors who have the Drive to Thrive.
Colorectal cancer survivors can reimagine health and well being beyond a cancer diagnosis. HCB2’s survivor group share their experiences, provide clarity of experience, offer and gain support, and most importantly impact the screening rate within their network.
The colorectal cancer survivor voice can be muffled through the journey after cancer treatments. HCB2 wants to help colorectal cancer survivors find their voice through supportive discussions, sharing resources and referrals, and providing the opportunity to reach others to prevent this disease.
In a world where cancer and survivorship can evoke fear, isolation, and confusion, HCB2 aims to shift the narrative towards connection, hope, and proactive measures for health management.
The purpose of the HCB2’s Drive to Thrive
- To engage colorectal cancer survivors in conversation which illustrates the realities of a cancer experience and the life one lives beyond diagnosis.
- To identify tools, resources, support networks which aid in positive health outcomes.
- To impact others to get screened.
