Can We Talk about Strike Out Cancer? February is National Prevent Cancer Month and to celebrate, HCB2’s Strike Out Cancer will return for its 6th year!
On Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Bowl America Southwest, four Chesterfield County high schools will battle on the lanes as they raise awareness to colorectal cancer prevention. As diagnosis of colorectal cancer is rising in the 20-39 year old population, it’s imperative to bring students education about symptoms, family history and screening options. These students are then encouraged to bring the information into their homes and discuss with their loved ones who most likely are at the age for routine screening. The event is a win-win on many levels!
