Renee is honored to join the HCB2 board and support the advancement of cancer prevention. Though she has extensive experience in both the public health and cancer nonprofit worlds, it is largely her own personal journey to health and well-being that informs her work and actions today. She understands, and lives, many of the issues surrounding taking care of oneself, such as eating for health, reducing stress, and having access to timely, affordable (and effective) care. Renee holds a Master of Public Health, a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, a heart for social justice, and an eye for art and design. Her spirit animal may or may not be the cat.
